WayLecta is built to need as little personal data as possible. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or trackers and shows no ads. Its typefaces are served from this site, so your browser does not contact a font service.

Who is responsible

When you visit

Netlify, Inc. hosts the site. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, its servers process the technical data your browser sends: your IP address, browser type, the page you ask for and the time. Netlify does this on WayLecta’s behalf under its data processing agreement. The legal basis is WayLecta’s legitimate interest in running a secure, working site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is based in the United States and takes part in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

What stays on your device

The walkthrough remembers your choices in your browser’s local storage, so they are still there next time: country, election, route, Land, dates, ticked steps and signature counts. They never leave your device and WayLecta cannot see them. What you type in the question box is not saved. To remove everything, clear this site’s data in your browser.

Feedback form

The feedback form runs on Tally, which processes your answers on WayLecta’s behalf. They are used only to fix and improve WayLecta. The legal basis is your consent, given when you send the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time by email. Feedback is deleted once it has been dealt with, and after 12 months at the latest. Please leave out personal details, political views and party plans.

Ask a question

Ask a question runs entirely in your browser: it matches your question against WayLecta’s answer library on your device. Your question is not sent to WayLecta or anyone else, and it is not saved.

Links to other sites

Steps link to laws and official pages. When you open one, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data held about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to its use and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to hello@waylecta.eu. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or to the authority where you live.
