What WayLecta is

WayLecta is a free walkthrough of the steps, deadlines and money rules for standing in elections in Austria and Germany. It gives general information about the law. It is not legal advice and does not replace a lawyer for your own case. Rules change, so check each step against the official source linked to it before you act.

Answers come from WayLecta’s answer library: explanations written in advance from the EU treaties, EU election law, Council of Europe and UN standards and the Austrian and German rules in the walkthrough, each linked to its sources. No AI writes them when you ask. They are general information for educational purposes, can be out of date and are not legal advice.
